Txuleta

Txuleta is located in the Trinidad Square, just off 31 de Agosto in the Old Town. The focus here is on local produce and their speciality is definitely meat – they even have their own range of cuts which they sell in the bar and in local supermarkets.

There’s a handful of tables in the bar area and outside in the square, but there is also a lovely restaurant with two dining rooms.

This is my favourite bar to get txistorra, a spicy Basque sausage, simply cooked.
